Tandy 3000 emerged from an urgency, it was a new narrative that I created and that opened up the spectrum of creation for me. It is a one woman show that allows me to explore the interdisciplinarity between performance, dance and music. But this is my version, let’s see hers: 3000 is inspired by the world that surrounds us, she is the meeting point of all cultures, the 430 billion years of existence.
From the earring displayed in a lost second-hand shop in Portugal, to the floral mantle that drags on the sidewalk in Martim Moniz, to the old transvestites with heavy eyebrows that gather in the corner of a tiny, smelly bar! 3000 looks for a bit of the future, the present and the past. 3000 is a constantly changing being. Sometimes it’s difficult for 3000 to focus on a black dot, as it unfolds into curved lines that in turn explode in color. Note that this ramble does not prevent 3000 from being concise, from narrowing the spectrum.
